Ronald L. Gallatin (President/Treasurer) is a retired lawyer, CPA and Investment Banker who has spent his retirement giving considerable time, professional expertise and financial resources to various charities. He has been active in both campaign and fundraising as well as the fiscal responsibility and strategic planning aspects of the organizations he has been involved with. He is a former Treasurer and Major Gifts chair of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and a past member of the Board of Directors of UJA/Federation of New York. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair of Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services.
Jason F. Merrick (Vice President / Secretary) is a Certified Public Accountant who has his own accounting and tax practice, and is the Chief Financial Officer of Random Source, Inc. an office supply company which he is a part owner. He is also an adjunct Professor of Accounting at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Merrick served as the Treasurer of Parkland Isles Homeowners Association for over 13 years and has been involved in the non-profit arena for over 14 years serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services.
Alan M. Gallatin (Assistant Secretary) is a Tax Partner of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in the metro Detroit (Southfield, MI) office. He serves a wide range of individual and business (both corporate and partnership) clients across multiple industries, providing year-round compliance and planning, as well as transactional support. Within the community, he serves on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, as a Trustee of Adat Shalom Synagogue and of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He is a past Treasurer and Audit Committee Chair, as well as the current Strategic Planning Chair of the Fresh Air Society/Tamarack Camps. He has previously served as a Trustee and Executive Committee Member of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. He is a former Vice-Chair of the Jewish Federations’ National Young Leadership Cabinet, and a graduate of the Berrie Fellows Leadership Program.
Laurence “Larry” I. Blair is a shareholder at Greenspoon Marder and is certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates Law. A well-known community leader, Larry is involved in the community and serves on the governing boards for a variety of local organizations. He helps structure gifts to charities that provide benefits to both donors and the organizations. Larry’s experience as a member of boards of directors, serving on finance committees and as Treasurer of a not-for-profit corporation, service as Personal Representative, and trustee facilitator for family meetings and similar experiences have enabled him to serve as a family advisor to a variety of families.
