Ronald L. Gallatin (President/Treasurer) is a retired lawyer, CPA and Investment Banker who has spent his retirement giving considerable time, professional expertise and financial resources to various charities. He has been active in both campaign and fundraising as well as the fiscal responsibility and strategic planning aspects of the organizations he has been involved with. He is a former Treasurer and Major Gifts chair of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and a past member of the Board of Directors of UJA/Federation of New York. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair of Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services.
Laurence “Larry” I. Blair (Vice President) is a shareholder at Greenspoon Marder and is certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates Law. A well-known community leader, Larry is involved in the community and serves on the governing boards for a variety of local organizations. He helps structure gifts to charities that provide benefits to both donors and the organizations. Larry’s experience as a member of boards of directors, serving on finance committees and as Treasurer of a not-for-profit corporation, service as Personal Representative, and trustee facilitator for family meetings and similar experiences have enabled him to serve as a family advisor to a variety of families.
Alan M. Gallatin (Secretary) is a Principal in the National Tax Office of Plante & Moran, PLLC. Based in the Firm’s Southfield, MI (metro Detroit) office, he provides a wide range of tax consulting services to corporate clients as well as internal- and external-facing thought leadership. He is an adjunct professor of accounting and tax at Walsh College in Troy, MI. Within the community, he is a Trustee of Adat Shalom Synagogue of which he is President of its Men’s Club. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and as a Trustee of of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He is a past Treasurer, Audit Committee Chair and Strategic Planning Chair of the Fresh Air Society/Tamarack Camps. He has previously served as a Trustee and Executive Committee Member of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. He is a former Vice-Chair of the Jewish Federations’ National Young Leadership Cabinet, and a graduate of the Berrie Fellows Leadership Program.
Summer Faerman (Natural Disaster Relief Coordinator), a native Floridian, and graduate from the University of Florida, triple majored in Business, English, and Religion, minoring in Education. As the Director of the Tzedakah, Learning and Chesed (TLC) Program at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton, Summer connects every branch of the synagogue to non-profit organizations throughout the community. She also volunteers with countless agencies particularly those involved with literacy, food insecurity, homelessness, and special needs. For Summer she has the perfect career because it melds her personal philosophy with her professional life believing you cannot move forward as a person unless you give back.
Adam S. Rosenthal is a Managing Director in the Private Wealth Division of UBS Financial Services, Inc. where he works exclusively with high net worth individuals managing and creating various wealth preservation strategies. His clients include several members of the “Forbes 400” and “Forbes Billionaires”. Adam is actively involved in UJA/Federation fundraising in New York City.
