At that time, Group 1, a group of 10 fiances whose loved ones were killed in action, began to meet for two hours per week with a professional therapist trained in bereavement. The group counseling lasted for approximately one year.As of today, there have been 29 groups totaling 300 young Israelis who suffered the loss of the love of their life. For some, after the group therapy ended, they needed private therapy. The Israeli government pays for part of Widowed in All But Names budget but not all of the therapy, or the small social component deemed necessary by the therapist, or even the modest expenses of the organization. For more than 10 years, HOT was the organizations major contributor.
